Eat More: Watermelon Seeds

Hey girls,

It’s time for a little Q & A, so let’s get started! What’s tiny, white or black, enclosed in a moist gigantic round green hollow, rich in protein, and thrown away daily by individuals all around the world… Watermelon seeds of course (yay free slices of watermelon for the girls who guessed right, lol) !

Packing a powerful punch, seeds from watermelons contain proteins that can help regulate your blood pressure and help treat heart disease.

Full of B vitamins, minerals, and essential fats, watermelon seeds, are eaten roasted in Asia as a nutritious snack and in Nigeria within soups. They are consumed all over the world by people who know their true nutritional values.

So the next time you consume any pieces of watermelon, be sure to think  twice before discarding its healthy seeds; and no girls these little bad boys will not grow in your belly…. So go ahead and chew up (Recipe below)!
