About Me:

Hi, I am Courtney Pierce. I love traveling, roses, anything vintage, and everything gold. I’m a  junior Management major at the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC.

I love living in the Queen City. I’ve lived here for nine years on the northwest side of town, and by now attending Johnson & Wales I finally get to live and play uptown!

Living in the cityscape is fabulous and I wouldn’t trade strolling the uptown streets in a bad blazer, sexy boyfriend jeans, and uber chic wedges for anything (Well maybe for a million dollars, or the chance to study in NY, LA, or abroad for free. Lol!).

I’m a frugal college girl.

Being a business student at JWU requires me to dress professionally everyday, so I go through a dozen wardrobe changes every week (it’s so hectic).

I love studying outside in the sun, but late night’s you can find me in the library with an iced chai tea latte or a red bull (they’re my best friends, lol).

Becoming a successful fine dining chain restaurant owner and entrepreneur/inventor is my dream.

The story behind the blog/grail:

I have searched across the web (Holy Grail Quest) and have never found a website that covered in one place, a range of topics  that are needed to succeed as a female business student, better yet a college student in general.

Therefore, I created The College Golden Goblet to share the knowledge that I’ve discovered   from various books and websites to discuss the things in “college life” that are essential, so that every female business student around the world can become successful.

So, if you are female business student that is  tired of scouring the web to look for beauty, business, college, fashion, health, and news articles  in a million different places, this site is for you… Welcome to your new “one-stop-blog!”

The search is finally over. Raise your grail!

*For all you non-business majors:  Everything on this blog is relevant to you, except for the “business” category.  😉

  1. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

  3. Hey Courtney! Thanks for checking out my page. I wish you would’ve come up with your blog while I was in school. You can’t imagine the number of times a “how to” would’ve been helpful while I was working my way through. I hope for you all the best and keep up the good work, your blog looks great. I love L. Boogie so it was a great first post to see!

  4. Hey Courtney,

What a great blog! I liked your post about free software (wow, do I love GIMP!) and traveling by bus. Thanks for the follow on my blog!
